EXPERIENCE

Marilynne R. Ryan is the founding partner of Ryan & Faenza and has been a practicing attorney for 23 years. Attorney Ryan’s practice is concentrated in all aspects of divorce and family law including child support, alimony, division of property, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, and contempts and modifications. Attorney Ryan has significant trial experience, particularly in complex divorce cases. She was appointed by the Supreme Judicial Court and is currently is a current member of the Court Management Advisory Board. She is a former chair of the Family Law Council of the Massachusetts Bar Association, its Child Support Guideline Committee, and was most recently the Vice-Chair of the Massachusetts Child Support Guideline Task Force. Attorney Ryan is certified in both collaborative law and mediation. She is a private and court appointed master, special discovery master, conciliator, and arbitrator. Attorney Ryan enjoys an AV rating from Martindale Hubbell and is a frequent lecturer on various aspects of family law. She co-authored Massachusetts Domestic Relations, 1st through 4th Editions, and its annual updates from 1982 through 2006. Attorney Ryan was named a “Super Lawyer” by Boston Magazine in 2008, 2009 and 2010.
